Leadership and Staff

Jim and Karen Noble

Karen and Jim Noble founded Restoration Word Ministries in 1998 as an outreach ministry with a radio broadcast cast that aired for 12 years.  RWM partnered with the restaurant group ( partnership later named Noble Food and Pursuits) to outreach and feed the poor in High Point, Winston-Salem, Greensboro and Charlotte to feed the poor.   This joint outreach became a not for profit restaurant The King’s Kitchen in uptown Charlotte in the spring of 2010.   From here, Restoring Place Church was birthed at The King’s Kitchen in January of 2011.  Realizing the problems were greater than originally thought, RPC launched the Charlotte Mecklenburg Dream Center in February of 2012.   Karen and Jim Noble pastor RPC and  oversee the CMDC with the leadership of Bo Frowine, Executive Director.

Jada Means
Adopt A Block Leader,
Reid Park

Jada is a North Carolina native, born and raised in the small town of Rocky Mount. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where she majored in Communication Studies and minored in American Sign Language. Eager for a “big city feel” Jada relocated to Charlotte in 2018 with her dog Leo. One of the most important titles Jada holds is “Auntie” to five nieces and nephews and you’ll often hear her saying the best part about being an Aunt is loving the kids like their yours then sending them home to their parents. As an adventurer and lover of spontaneous activities, Jada will soon be lacing up her skates as she attempts to teach herself how to roller skate. While trying new activities, being an Aunt, and her dog Leo are all things Jada loves, she’s reminded daily that God is love and we love because He first loved us.  My heart is to minister to those that are in seemingly hopeless situations and be a voice for those who have not yet found their own while supporting them to be all that God has called them to be. God has called me to be a leader in the Charlotte community and focus on making disciples of the youth. In the next five years, God willing, I will further my education to be able to better support the areas God has called me to and progress in my career!   Email: Jada@cltdc.org

Susanna Matthews, Executive Administrative Assistant

 Ministry Team

Raised in Durham, North Carolina, Susanna spent a brutally cold and dreary 4 years in the unfortunate state of Ohio to complete her undergrad in Social Work before returning to the gloriously warm and sunny Carolinas, this time landing in Charlotte. Susanna is the youngest of three, loves basketball, soccer, dogs, writing, and believes a successful vacation consists of an uninhibited amount of naps and snacks. Life is an adventure and worth the risks, which she recently confirmed by long boarding without a helmet and knee pads despite several warnings from her “more experienced” coworkers. All jokes aside, Susanna's favorite thing about life with God is the joy and freedom that comes with trusting Him and the unity that binds people with all different stories into one narrative - you guessed it, the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.” - Galations 5:1
